Host Stand Feature — Mobility

Mobile Host Stands on Casters

Roll it to the door on Friday, lock it behind the bar on Tuesday. Built for restaurants that reconfigure.

A host stand on wheels gives you flexibility without sacrificing the built look. Heavy-duty plate casters lock individually so the stand stays put when it's in position.

Hostess stand on wheels with locking casters — portable millwork for restaurants

We mount 3-inch or 4-inch heavy-duty plate casters directly to the base carcass — not to a separate dolly. That keeps the stand's profile clean and avoids the wobbly, tilting problem that comes with stand-alone casters under a cabinet not built for them. Two casters lock, two swivel, so the stand rolls straight and stays put.

Mobile host stands are popular in event and banquet spaces where the entry point changes by event. They're also common in restaurants with patio seasons — roll it to the front in summer, tuck it inside in winter. The stand is built as a single rigid unit so nothing loosens over time from the movement.

A hostess stand on wheels can still have drawers, a tip box, or a tablet shelf. Mobility is a base option, not a separate product. Tell us the configuration you need and we'll price the caster base as part of the build.
