Restaurant waitress stations

A waitress station is where your front-of-house staff resets between tables. We build them to keep supplies organized, surfaces clean, and traffic out of the kitchen.

Restaurant waitress station with upper and base cabinet storage — commercial millwork

A restaurant waitress station — also called a waiter stand or server drop station — is the millwork unit where staff store napkins, silverware, glassware, and condiments without going back to the kitchen for every reset. We build them in the same finish package as the rest of the dining room casework so they disappear into the interior instead of looking like a stockroom.

Standard waitress station configurations include a lower cabinet with doors or drawers, an open shelf at mid-height for glassware, and a work surface at counter height (34–36 inches). We can add a glass rack below the work surface, a wine storage section, a Bunn brewer shelf, or a locked drawer for payment processing hardware — whatever the floor plan requires.

Station width is dictated by your floor plan. We've built single units as narrow as 24 inches for tight galley dining rooms and multi-section runs over 8 feet for high-volume full-service restaurants. Custom widths, depths, and heights are standard — we don't make you adapt to a catalog size.
